If you find a fact that is wrong or outdated on Banesa në Gjilan, tell us which one — every claim on the site carries its own source and date, so the correction needs to tie to that specific fact. We verify it against a public source or a dated observation and change it as soon as it’s confirmed.

What do we correct?

We correct any fact that is wrong or outdated on the site: construction specifications such as materials or ownership documentation, delivery status, apartments per floor, elevators per entrance, heating, parking, Google review numbers and ratings, verification dates that no longer match reality, or any other figure the site presents as a fact rather than an opinion. If a claim is marked “according to the company”, the correction needs to show what changed at the company itself; if it’s an editorial observation, tell us what you saw differently and when. Corrections can come from readers, from the developers themselves, or from residents of a complex — they are treated the same, regardless of who reports them.

We do not accept personal opinions or assessments without a fact behind them as a correction — the site compares facts, not impressions. If someone asks for an unfavorable but verified and dated fact to be removed, it stays; a correction fixes an inaccuracy, it does not soften the truth.

How do we handle a correction?

The reported fact is verified before it is changed — against a public source (the developer’s website, Google Maps, ASK, BQK, AKK, ATK, the Official Gazette) or a new, dated on-site observation, following the same method we use for every other fact on the site. As soon as it’s confirmed, we change it and update the verification date next to it. We do not change a fact based only on an unconfirmed claim — neither in favor of a complex nor against it.

The ranking does NOT change automatically when a fact changes. We reassess only the affected criterion, because the recommendation rests on the combination of criteria — as explained in full on How we evaluate — not on a single figure. A correction to a minor criterion doesn’t necessarily move a complex’s position in the comparison. If the fact cannot be verified either by a public source or by a dated observation, the cell stays empty, following the same rule we apply to any unconfirmed data.

How can you write to us?

The contact channels for corrections are not yet published. They will appear on this page and on About as soon as they are ready — we don’t want to give out an address or number that isn’t monitored regularly yet. Until then, the site’s facts are refreshed periodically through the editorial team’s own checks, following the same date and method you see next to every published fact. Once the channel opens, every request will be handled under the rules on this page, no differently.

Does a correction affect the ranking?

Only if the correction touches a verifiable fact that feeds into the comparison — for example materials, ownership documentation, maintenance, density, or Google reviews. The reassessment happens for free, without pressure, and without exception: the same rule applies to the recommended complex and to every other competitor covered on the site. No developer can buy a better position by requesting a “correction” to a fact that is actually accurate.
